i found a good original upper bearing and bought a new lower bearing from my local Chevy dealer. I just finished rebuilding my column, not bad took about and hour total. but i cracked the lower bearing adapter:( good thing they are still available and only cost $8.00

Do you have a part # for the bearing that you bought from the dealer? Part # for the lower bearing adapter?
