Has anyone put this set on their 62-63?
6264FRBKS. This is the part number from CPP's website. I called them twice and got two different answers. First call said I didn't have to replace spindles or steering arms, Second call said I did have to replace spindles and steering arms. The set is 1199 and the spindles and steering arms are another 300. I don't want to buy stuff I don't need but I want to have everything I need to do the job when I get started.
There was a post a few days ago about something similar to this but I never heard if anyone actually used this set.

I had called CPP and wanted to know why the dropped spindle kit w/spindles cost less than the stock spindle kit without spindles. The guy had no clue about the kits and did'nt even offer to do any research. I asked if the stock spindle kit had better quality parts since it cost more but did'nt have spindles and his only answer was "I don't make up the prices". How is one supposed to figure out what kit is best for them if their sales people are clueless and unmotivated. Sorry about the rant, just had a similar experience with CPP

The 6264FRBK-S is engineered to bolt up directly to a 5 lug drum brake spindle. This fits all stock height disc brake spindles and the CPP 30100/CP30103 drop spindles when they are used with “6267BA-K” (longer anchor bolt and spacer). The rotors, calipers, and brackets, fit all 5 lug Novas up to 1974, “A”-body cars from 1964 to 1972, and “F”-body cars from 1967 to 1969. 4 lug spindles and steering arms have a shorter distance between the steering arm mounting bolts and do not work. CPP offers new 5 lug spindles and steering arms.
There is a mistake on the internet pricing. Our webmaster is working to correct this error. The kit that includes the spindles is more. Both of these kits use the same components, the only exception is the “6267BA-K” is needed when using a disc brake or drop spindle.:o
CPP is constantly working on bring new and innovative parts to the Nova community; regrettably it appears that some of our sales staff can not keep up with our R&D team. However we do have some great tools like this forum that enable us to help with your needs, questions, concerns, wants, etc. All of you are welcomed to send me private message, or an email. I am here to help you. As we get more feed back from you we will be able to give you better service and support in the future.:D:D:D
