You're gonna have some troubles finding the front trim for your 73, grills are hard to come by too. I haven't seen any places with reproduction 73/74 trim/pieces.
I'm always watching EBay and there's always some stuff up there, but the prices they can go for, is unreal ... but you can find a deal sometimes too!
You should be able to get a fender from a 68-72, but you'll need the fender extension to add to the fender for the 73 trim.
Do you have a picture, how bad is the damage?

73 and 74 are tough! No repops around though you might find a fender. I spend a lot of time in the wrecking yard and on ebay.

well lets put it this way the sub frame needed replacement, the motor mount brackets needed replacement (very hard to find so I had to heat and beat it back to position) the only subframe I could get was from a 69' so this nova will eventually be a mutt nova but a nova nonetheless (too much sentimental value to just junk like everyone else told me)

If you're really looking for a new subframe, can't you use one out of a first gen Camaro? I was under the impression that they're the same. If they are, it might allow a little wider search.
hey i want to con vert my 73"s front end to a 72 so i will be trying get rid or mine grille hood fender head light bezels so hit me up

you can convert a subframe from a camaro, however its a little too custom considering camaro frames are longer, I had a 68 camaro subframe (way too long)...that would need alot of customizing, I might as well keep the 69 nova subframe at least its closer. Thanks guys and gfercaks if you do decide to do that give me a price and I'll find out the shipping costs if its worth it (OK to AZ shouldn't be that bad)
OVER?!?!?!? nothings over until you quit and noone likes a quiter

As chuckha62 said, a first gen (67-69) Camaro subframe is a bolt in deal. I think you need to drill an extra hole or two in the front horns for the bumper brackets, but that is all. If your '68 was "way too long" than it was not what you think it was.

72venturaII you may be right, a buddy of mine gave me the frame and said he pulled it off a 69 camaro, maybe he was wrong maybe he was right but the frame was about a foot longer than the subframe that came off my nova, as far as them fitting a nova you can rig and custom make any damn thing you want doesn't mean its gonna look great doesn't mean its gonna look bad. Its all trial and error, I've seen duster darts created, camaros with 35 inch tires, tempests with 37 inch tires.....anything is possible

I agree that the early Camaro sub frame is the same as the Nova. I would say you had something else if it was that much longer. Alot of the early Camaro stuff will cross over.
Good luck.

Anything is possible with the right amount of time and money, but if you want to replace the subframe with a one that looks identical to yours, get one from a '67-'69 Camaro, or a '68-'74 Nova, Apollo, Ventura, or Omega. This will eliminate trial and error.
If the subframe you have is a foot longer than your original, than it is NOT from one of the above cars, but you can believe what you want.
sorry to mislead you guys, the subframe that I got first was supposedly off a 69 camaro (too long) I have a subframe now that I got off a 69 Nova, already intact with suspension and steering hooked up (need to adjust a few things, had to move it quick) as far as the apollo, omega, ventura go thats how NOVA got the name and they do match up perfect from what I've heard as long as the generations match, but I never heard about the camaro's matching I just always assumed some would, so thanks for the tips

the 73-74 Nova is a little different than the 68-72 Novas where the motor mounts are and the front bumper mounting holes. the 73-74 has a plate on the frame to attach the different style motor mounts

your right firebird69racer, it was all they had at the moment and now I'm stuck with it but I know enough about customizing and know enough people that can rig stuff so I'm just gonna run with it

Switch to the '72 and earlier motor/frame mounts and you don't have to fabricate anything.
