Is there a way of fitting a cd player in the dash without having to cut on the dash? I have an old cassette player in there now. But cd players dont have the openings for the 2 knobs though. Dont really like the idea of cutting into it.

You have several options for adding a CD Player.

1) Cut the dash.
2) Mount the CD Player under the dash.
3) Mount the CD Player in the glove box.
4) Build a custom console to mount the CD Player in. (My favorite)
5) Put a CD Changer in the trunk.

But really if you have a hi perf Muscle car, what the hell are you wanting to listen to anything other than the engine? I figure that there is nothing better than a radio delete plate
