leaf spring question

Is there a difference in the multi leaf springs for a 68-72 nova compared to a 67-81 camaro as far as length between the front and rear eyes and the spot the leafs mount to the axle so that the rearend isn't to far forward or backwards in the wheel well?

If one is a little longer than the other what kind of problems if any can it cause if they are interchanged between the vehicles?

Also how good are PST leaf springs?

Thanks!!

The overall length is different. I think the Nova is longer.

IF you're looking to buy from PST, you can get nova specific springs ya know ;)
IIRC, they're about $350 for the pair.

Ok I called pst and they said that they don't know because eaton springs in detroit makes thier springs. Called them and they said that the bushing hole to bushing hole is the same and the mounting point on the spring is the same so the tire will be centered correctly in the wheel well. The only difference might be the arch of the spring so the nova might ride a little higher or lower but most likely lower in the rear than if they are nova springs.

The reason I am asking is because a friend has a set he took off a 72 camaro that had less than 2500miles on them and he paid 350 for them and he is selling them to me for 75..Can't beat that price!!!!

thanks guys!!!
