radiator overflow

I have a 1970 nova and was wondering about a radiator overflow resivoir. I was told that a 1975 nova windshield washer resivoir would fit right up under the right fender next to the battery, brackets and all would line up with existing holes. Any truth to this??

Its not the washer fluid jar, its the overflow bottle for a 4th gen...and yes, you are correct.

I always wondered about that, were you ordering it from?

I just stuck the overflow hose into an empty beer can, tied it to the rad support and called it good. :beer:

I just ordered one of these in black and it's getting mounted were the charcoal canister can use to be..:D

Yes, they fit great. I have one in my 74 Nova.

Yes there is room Marlin. I think Earl has one on one of his cars too. Works nice at the track for those restorations where you don't want to modify the engine compartment.

Advanced Auto Parts sells a generic tank that will fit nicely in the space under the fender next to the battery. I have them on 2 of our cars..you can't see them and they work great...overflow hose runs down and is wired tied to the fender support...

I have mine set up just like Ron's. The chassis ground bolt is even in the perfect spot. Reinstall the battery and it looks factory.
