Has anyone seen a kit for locking your hood from inside the car? A few years back I remember seeing one that was very similar to those add-on manual choke kits. You would flip the lever and it would slide a bar through the hood latch loop so that you couldn't raise the hood. Wish I would have picked it up at the time, but the place has long since closed (Anyone who lives near me would remember the "Green Store").
So has anyone seen somewhere else that carries these or am I going to have to make one? Thanks!

The good ole' green store. I moved back into the area and stopped in and they were closed for good. I used to love going to that place. If they didn't have it you didn't need it.
Have you tried JC Whitney that sounds like something they would carry.

Didn't think of them. It looks like they have something similar, I don't really need the starter cut-out. But I guess if I don't find the stand alone version this would work.

I ruined my original hood and just replaced it with a SS Hood, so I really don't want to cut it or drill it. I had hood pins on a Camaro and they just looked kind of crappy after about a year. I'm trying to go for a clean look but don't want my engine accessible to anybody who walks by either.
My Nova has been parked for the last 8 years and I just drove it around the block yesterday for the first time. Sprayed fluids all over the place, but it won't be long till it's street worthy again. :D

Weld it shut, you don't need access.

Classic Industries used to carry them, but I dont see any "Inside Hood Release Kit" in their current on-line catalog.

Put a chain through the emblem holes in the hood and wrap it around the latch assembly behind the grill ...
Works great for me!

I found my hood open once and another time, saw some vagrant trying to get it open. I was on the 4th floor of an office building, by the time I ran down he was gone. So I also use the chain and padlock system. Use a bike tube for the chain,or wrap it in elec tape to stop it from rattling/scratching anything.
