JRChevy 17th-July-2007, 05:22 PM Well folks I am going to buck up for a standard CPP front kit. I am driving the 4door on a daily basis and the stocker front end is just about shot. I don't want to ruin the tires and keep replacing them nor do I want to continually adjust things to keep them working correctly. Ball joints alone are $48-$52 a piece so replacing the stocker parts is no comparison to a CPP kit.
So who has the best price? So far it looks like buying direct form CPP is the best bang for the buck (which seems weird to me?) but anywho. Thanks...

Thanks BM ... I am normally on top of things like this but I have changed jobs and just a tad bit more busier than I used to be at work nowadays!! (1500 more servers busier to be precise!) So surfin at work lately is almost impossible:D

I'm sure he will sell just the bassic kit. I shopped around and he beat the price on the kit and shipping of anybody I talked to.

DrBob1967 17th-July-2007, 10:36 PM I put it together 15 years ago. Was a 283 glide AC car from Cal. Now350 350 turbo, Holley Projection, 268 Comp cam, Ported heads. Stock exshuat manifolds, Duals , 1 inch lowering block in back, cut coils in front. Wheels are front wheel drive 15 x7 1990 olds 88 , custom spacers and caps. 205/60 front 235/60 rear .Updates in the near future are CPP upper and lowers arms, drop spindles and zero offset discs.

It may be free shipping but they hit you with a handling fee. I'll call em and see but they generally make it not worth while. They also are not expected to ship until Aug 5th:eek: I ain't waitin that long! I appreciate you input though.

bluenova667 24th-July-2007, 11:27 AM I got all of my cpp kit from chevy 2 only, i also have a 1967 4 door which i installed this with front coil overs, the sway bars front and rear and 4 wheel disc breaks, you will def notice an improvement with just the cpp kit alone but i highly advise the new sway bars also. goodluck...
