Does anyone know where I can get a disc brake kit (front) for my '64? I want to use the stock spindles and do not want power brakes. I'm looking for a complete kit from the master cylinder on down. I know there are a lot of them out there but I am looking for some opinions.
Thanks,
Len:)

Hey guys, just thought I'd let everyone know what I picked up today from Online Performance parts in fullerton. Complete disc brake setup, minus M/C, booster, and prop valve, basically everything I needed at the wheels. I havent put it on yet, but i'll let you guys know how it fit. Oh, buy the way, w/ tax, it came out to a total of ****334.00.
Let me know what you guys think...

Look at this deal posted by FLY5051 , looks like a very good deal to me. About using your spindle, do you want a kit that will adapt to your spindle or do you want to machine your spindle?

How about this route>>>>>>>

The only difference between the stock drum spindle and the disc spindle is a mere "1/2" of an inch. I have done this on my 66 and used a mixed bag of 72-74 parts from the local auto zone and was done in half a day. Plus, I didn't distort or destroy any of my brand new steering linkages. ( you have to remove the outer tie rod ends to remove your spindles )
The choice is up to you...

There are several good options. We have had good luck with a zero offset disc brake kit. That way when you are done, the spacing on the wheels hasn't been changed. It is designed to work with the stock 5-lug spindles, so you don't have to remove tie rods or ball joints.
