the holes for the sway bar bushings are located on my frame but i don't believe that they are they are threaded. My car didn't come with a factory sway bar so i don't believe they are threaded. Have any of you have to tap the holes to install your front sway bar and how difficult is this to do?

but you dont want to tap the frame, its not thick enough, see if there's a hole close by, and slip a nutplate behind where your gonna drill the holes, AFTER you drill them !
You can buy nutplates at most hardware stores, another thing if you have a welder, is get the spacing down, and tack 2 nuts to a strip of metal and slip em behind, just use some antiseize when you assemble

So i don't want to tap the holes in the frame at all...just use a nutplate on the backside of where i drill new holes?

I thought the factory bolts were self taping that went into the holes

I swear I remember nutplates being behind, but I could be thinking of something else
6 million nuts and bolts in my memory, been a wrench too long

The only way I knew is because I just put my sons subframe together, so fresh in memory, ask me in a few months and I would be the same, to many nuts and bolts

Yep, self threading. I got mine at the local Chevy dealer. :)
