Hey guys,

I got a 67, and I am looking at replacing the steering column with either the one from Billet Specialties or IDIDIT. IDIDIT does not sell steering wheels, but Billet does. I d like to hear from those who have installed either one of those how they like or maybe dislike them. And if I buy from IDIDIT, will the Billet steering wheels fit?

Thank you,

Cheers,

Pierre

If the Billet steering wheel fits an OEM column, it'll fit on the Ididit column, or at least the Ididit OEM replacement tilt column that I bought for my 67.

This assumes that the Billet wheel fits on the OEM splines from 67.

I love my Ididit column. :D I used an original 67 steering wheel on it with no problems.

The Billet Specialties and Ididit columns both use a steering wheel hub that also fits GM columns from 67-94. They can also supply a hub that fits the stock 49-66 GM column. They are not the same as the early columns have a smaller diameter jacket at the top

I installed the Ididit and like everything about it except the bracket to attach the firewall end-I am fabing a different bracket now to attach that end in a better fasion.
