I plan to be at this meet as well...probably hit it up early saturday morning, and if the weather holds out, get a little painting done.
What truck are you selling?

I should be there pending rain..??? I dont' wanna wash/clean/detail that thing if I have to drive it in the rain:( But then again it's the biggest swapmeet in our area. So getting the public eye is good and cheap at $35 for all 3 days.
I am gonna go no matter what. Whether I bring the truck or not is up to Mother Nature.

I have been tryin to fugre that out forat least 6 months.... I have a pretty good idea but not sure until I write it down on the FOR SALE sign in the truck window on Friday... It's a ground up restoration with a ton of goodies and tons of stainless/aluminum and new parts everywhere.
Hopefull enough to get a heckuva start on my '67.. The weather is really throwin me a curve though. I hope at least Friday is a decent day to bring it out.
Cross your fingers for me!!

Swapmeet in Monroe, WA Started today at noon (for vendors) and runs all weekend open to the public. $5 a head. It's held at the Evergreen State Fairgrounds.

I'll be there as long as the weather holds out. Gloss black chassis/suspension and wet/dirty roads don't get along. My cell # will be on the truck. Call me up I'd like to meet ya. Just don't pick too hard on the truck. I wasn't really ready to put it up for sale yet but.My buddies browbeat me into it.:beat: This is a good opportunity for me to get an idea what people are willing to pay. A TON of people come through the Spring swapmeet with $$$$$$'s to burn...

I bet you're a happy camper! lol.
Unfortunately, I wasn't able to attend...Of course I had planned on it, but some family stuff came up and by the time I got free'd up, it was a little late to drive an 1 1/2 hours to the meet. Probably not going to venture out that way today, either.
Please tell me there weren't many novas/nova parts at the meet! :(
As for your truck, congrats! I'm not suprised it sold, as those pics show one heck of a purty pickup. Try not to spend all the $$$ in one place (summit). LOL :D

LoL, well at least someone was able to scarg them all up....you nova part hog!
I have my lazy, good-for-VERY-little, brother in law to thank for not being able to make it...Sometimes I REALLY wonder how my sister, who grew up as "Daddies little mechanic helper" could fall for a guy with absolutely ZERO mechanical aptitude, or good work ethics (manual labor)...lazy bum!

Fortunate for you I was lookin for '66-'67 parts.. So there still may be a chance for you..
Yeah.. I don't get how chicks do that to themselves. Only thing I can think is that they don't want what they had when they were growin up. They want something different:awkward:
