I have this used idler arm. It has zerks and doesn't look like the other idler I took off of my 64. Has anyone seen one of these? Is it some type of old aftermarket thing? Think its as good as the modern bearing replacement from C2O? I know someone was asking about putting zerks on a arm like this, but I forget who.

take a look either in the Web-Link Library under "Conversions & Upgrades" or in the 1st-2nd Genner forum and check out BThomas's Idler Arm bearing install link... that's the replacement idler arm i believe... Brent did a great job of documenting the bearing install and shows a picture of that Idler Arm, along with all the other available units ;)

Hope i helped :D

Oh..man I thought I had something rare! Yea I have already done the bearing conversion on the idler on the 64 that didn't have any bearings, just stiff bushings. But this idler was part of some parts I bought.

So what is the advantage of the bearing conversion vs this type of idler arm? Doesn't this one have bearings too?

that's basically Moog's or whoever is the actual manufacturer's updated design/replacement over the factory unit that'd take a bushing... other than greasing it's unservicable... it's a sealed unit. keep it greased and it'd probably last our lifetime ;)
