It's been talked about behind the scenes for a while, so let's gauge the interest level here:

Which are you most likely to buy:

A vinyl decal

A window cling

A plain old sticker

I should have asked this before I voted, but what's the difference between a vinyl decal and a plain old sticker ????

Greg_R_63

A sticker would be paper, and therefore cheaper.

You'd want a vinyl sticker....they are made with better, longer lasting material. Most car graphics are made of the vinyl material.

to me a Sticker is made of vinyl and ya peel & stick...

a Decal, ya soak in water, slide off paper backing and it dries on...

a Window Cling ya moisten with water and install... and it's removable/transferable.

i voted for a regular Ol' Stickers... but i dunno if that's what you call a sticker

Like Johnny, a clear description would be great !!! to me a sticker is a sticker = VINYL. a window clingy is a window clingy.. I honestly do not think price for a decal (sticker) would be an issue. Heck, they sold out of shirts !!!!

IMO, a paper sticker would not be good as, at least for our use, it would be affixed to the outside of the car and, with weather, will degrade quickly. I would think that ONLY vinyl stickers should be considered! I, personally, would like a water slide decal that goes on the inside of the window or a vinyl sticker that goes on the outside as they will last much longer!

I like the idea of a water slide that goes on the inside of the window. I also like the logo that is on the front of the tshirts instead of the larger logo on the back of the shirts. The chevyII logo with the .com and Q & A is cool.

maybe 3 inches wide

Quote:20th-March-2007 - Gordoacadian
The card is a great idea for tuckin' under wipers of Novas at show n shines, But we also need to bring in the owners with cars in pieces in the garage (like some of us) A small Steves' sticker on a shiney Nova would bring in new members also.

This reminds me of my work, I have to convince the boss that it's actually his idea then suddenly it's a good idea;)

Now, don't get me wrong, you are a genius and all, but you've only been a member of the site since December, and we've been talking about decals, clings, can coolers, and a Johnny Nuke'm doll with Kung-Fu button-pushing action since I put the shirt design together back in June of '06. :D ;)

Hey Johnny, we test marketed those, problem was, if the doll's glasses fell off (which happened a lot!), it would come to life and chase you around the house yelling 'PINK FLOYD RULES!! PINK FLOYD RULES!!'. I was ok with that, but it seemed to traumatize little kids. :D :D :D :D :D :D

If I can put in my 2 cents before printing. you should print the logo reversed so you can put them on the inside window out of the elements like the NNN vinyl decal.

I thought about that also, however I plan on getting the windows tinted, therefore the decal would have to go on the outside. Most vinyl stickers hold up pretty decent on the outside.

I think it's a good idea, but it all comes down to cost. If we had to pick one, I would pick an inside decal.

QUESTION: If it's a window sticker, where would you want to put it (I'm thinking of size here): In the windshield corner, on a vent window, quarter window, or???

p.s. great idea!! :D :D

I think it would be a good idea to add a little space where members can print their USER ID. When I see another Nova driving on the streets, or parked somewhere, I always ask myself if they could be a SNS member. And if so, who they are or what thier User Name is.

What'cha think?

Would it be possible to have our names printed when ordering the stickers?
