That was cool to watch,Thanks:beer: RatNova71 29th-April-2007, 09:19 PM It has 70 signal light lens' in the front bumper! That was cool to watch,Thanks:beer: I noticed that too!!! :geek: But check the rocker moldings, they are missing the top pieces found on 68-70 Novas and no fender louver, so it must be a 71 right?? Maybe it was the first one off the line for 71!! :D taz3 29th-April-2007, 09:27 PM Ya it's pretty neat to notice these things now,I wondered the same with my late 69 it has a 70 grill and bumper.Although after working on it today it looks more like it was custom by crash:eek: mostly cosmetic. cadanova 29th-April-2007, 09:39 PM not to big:confused:   those things are huge!!!!:beat: :D :p :beat: Ray_McAvoy 29th-April-2007, 11:15 PM not to big:confused:   those things are huge!!!!:beat: Compared to the full size cars back then they're actually not that big. Now, by today's car size standards it's a different story :D cadanova 29th-April-2007, 11:17 PM i know i was kiddin:rolleyes: Doug Timme 30th-April-2007, 07:33 PM I think about that everytime I walk around mine in the garage. Its hard to believe this was a small car:D Someone posted a picture here a while back of a Nova sitting between two Chevelles. I couldnt believe how small the nova looked. Doug Bigd70ss 30th-April-2007, 10:30 PM I also noticed the marker lights in the bumper, Not all 70's had louvers in the fenders, mine didn't Nova350SS 30th-April-2007, 10:33 PM Actually, The 68-72 Novas are not very big. I was driving my truck one day and in front of me on a two-lane highway, there was a '68 Chevy II/Nova right in my lane, and next to it coming up to a stoplight was an early 1990's Chevy Cavalier Z24, and I tell ya...the Cavalier's roof looked higher than the Novas, and the body lines on the Cavalier just looked "bigger". Maybe it's the roundness factor these new cars have today, but the Cavalier looked bigger! | |
