What do you do with your Novas during the year?
If you don't live in the NW, please don't answer the poll. I'd like to just see what the NW guys are doing with their cars. :)
Thanks!

Crap, now you guys have me realizing that I left out two important poll responses:
1) Occasional recreational use
2) Sits in the garage because it's still in "project" mode
I don't see any way to edit Poll answers after the fact. :(
Maybe I should just restart the poll. Whatcha think?

My Greenie sits in the garage all Winter with a monthly start up and move out of the garage maybe take it up the road to get it into 3rd and back to the garage. :(
Now that the weather is nice and they are sweeping all the sand and gravel off the highway I drive her whenever I can.
I finally got my new heads so here in a week or so she goes under the scalpel for a compression, valve, and spring upgrade. :D :D :D :D :D :D
Hmmm, then I won't drive her as much --- cause I'll get everywhere so much faster!! :p :D :D

I voted twice. My 66 just sits, keeping the miles low. My 65 is just about to become my daily driver.

I think I'm going to have to re-study the US map. Michigan and Minnesota appear to be part of the northwest now. :p

I'm with you there.
Mine sees an average of 1,000 miles a month...it's been that way for roughly 4 years.
I don't ever want to end up being one of those guys who leaves his "car" in his "garage" all the time. Mine's gunna get ridden hard and put away wet ;) Of course, it gets the occasional buffing and other "special treatment"

Mine has taken a 3 year "sabbatical". I've just been collecting parts and stuff for the last few years.
I've been working on a project truck for the last few years to to sell for $$ for the Nova. As well as having 2 kids, a large addititon to my house, large landscaping projects etc. etc. etc..
BUT THERE IS GOOD NEWS ON THE HORIZON!!!
The project truck is almost done and all of those other projects are now on the COMPLETED list. So the Nova moves to the top of the priorities!

Just recently purchased a '75 Nova Custom Coupe for my son. He turns 16 in May and this is our winter project car. It'll be his daily driver. It certainly isn't as nice has most of the Novas I seen posted here. We're just spending some quality time wrench on it (and trying to figure out how to stop the leaks! That's real important up here is Seattle! LOL :D). Any tips would be helpful.
Where do you guys/gals find body panels? We're looking for a right fender and I can't find anyone on the web with sheetmetal.
PM me if you can help out this Nova newbie and his teenager who thinks muscle cars are cool. No tuners for this kid!

I live in Seattle too, and mine's a daily driver. When you figure out how to stop the leaks, let me know:D I just carry a couple of towels.

mine sits in the garage. It has a couple of leaks that I haven't fixed yet but I jumped ahead and put new carpet in to quiet it down. The winter is when I plan out what I'm going to do in the spring as I save my pennies.

Mine is currently in hospital (body shop) getting cancer surgery from sitting outside for too many years. When done it may become my daily driver again but will get tucked in garage when not in use.

I drive mine mostly from May to Oct. Pretty much a fair weather car. I am usually gone 3 to 4 weekends a month. I hit about 20 shows a year logging about 4,000 or so miles a year. I do drive it during the week during the summer months too. It's my favorite one in the stable.http://i174.photobucket.com/albums/w91/nova66mussl/2007%20upgrades/2007assembly-Pentictonshow022.jpg

Hey Steve,
I fixed the tail light today. I just took the other one out and threw it away. The 62 isn't mine, it's for a customer--you should know me by now, I can't leave anything stock, especially a 6 cylinder.
