I am wanting to hear from anybody who has done this or researched it.
Rack and pinion can you buy just the mount? Is there a factory one that fits off of another car?
Thanks

Best outfit for rack and pinion units is Unisteer. They are engineered properly. They are a little pricey in my opinion, but they are correct. The biggest problem out there is these other companies are trying to put kits together with stock length mustang II and pinto racks. THAT IS NOT CORRECT! The length of the middle section of the rack and the length of the tie rods are critical in eliminating bumpsteer and ensuring you have proper suspension geometry. Unisteer is part of Mavel Manufacting and they are one of only a few companies in the country that can actually make a custom length rack. That is why they are the ones to go with.

Another vote for Unisteer! My buddy Mike Moore ( board member here also) just put one of his 68 last night. I will say it is a NICE kit. Not some gandy bulldozer looking piece like some stuff I have seen.
