74 hatchback 2nd-April-2007, 09:32 AM car looks awsome! glad to see the 4rth gens getting some respect, i had a 78' custom in high school and it was very nice like yours, it was charcole gray with black out tail panel and side window trim, 76'ss grill with camaro rallys, bucket seats and then a 350 along with my 12 bolt rear, my car could smoke any mustang gt back in the day, and im sure yours could smoke a cobra with the 454, nice job!
lee468 2nd-April-2007, 02:07 PM :D Wow! very nice me likes!!!!!!!
Mavico77 2nd-April-2007, 03:29 PM Ecellent! The car looks great. Maybe you've inspired me to put a big block in mine.
hangman11 2nd-April-2007, 03:35 PM i thought long and hard about putting in a big block, and i tell you the best decision i have ever made..the power is incredible..thanks for the nice comments.
69AKDN 2nd-April-2007, 03:45 PM Hey you couldn't have finished that this winter, those pics don't look current, I don't see any snow anywhere;) . Nice looking car there John, 75's are my fav 4th gen. Pentiction?
hangman11 2nd-April-2007, 04:08 PM hey good eyes..i got it in running order for the car show in penticton last summer, but it had a major overheating problem, plus was missing some decals that were hard to find..i redone the whole cooling system,by going old school,a shroud and a fan..now it works great..can control the temp with the thermostat..the car has less than 300 miles on it since being rebuilt..
now its completely finished..and waiting for the warm eather to get it out again..

ChevyIINova 27th-April-2007, 02:26 AM Holy Crap lol   :D
That is a CLEAN 4th Gen Nova, the ONLY thing I could suggest would be to lower the front down. Other then that its perfect.

Green Dragon 27th-April-2007, 09:04 PM Looking good there JG :)
I agree, looks a little high in the nose ( typical 4th gen stance ), only other 'nitpic' is I;d liek to see the window frames blacked out ( as original factory SS car ) .
keep up the good work - an inspiration to those of us who've been working far to long ( if not always hard, lol ) on our own toys.

78NovaRally 27th-April-2007, 11:16 PM nice one , thats pretty freakin sweet:cool:
hangman11 25th-May-2007, 01:14 PM well i tried 3 differant sets of front coil springs,2 were too low and the third was to high,i figured with time the weight will drop the front end,,if not i will raise the rear a bit that will do the trick..
hangman11 25th-May-2007, 01:15 PM hey green dragon...the window frames are blacked out...like the old SS.
thanks for looking.
mb75454 26th-May-2007, 04:55 PM Very nice looking car you have there. Very tastefully done. :)
