What are your goals? Why are you interested in changing the front clip? What is your Budget? grooves12 1st-April-2007, 08:59 PM Also, start here: http://home.earthlink.net/~joemama1/fsusp.html agpd45 1st-April-2007, 10:11 PM I didn't really know it's vague b/c i didn't really know what a front clip is.... i just see chassis works front clips tci etc. on people's profiles and stuff, and i never have really looked into it ... All the front suspension components and the motor mounts are attached to this subassembly. The aftermarket front clip with newer updated suspension pieces is then attached to those same mounts. When all is said and done, new tubular control arms, rack and pinion steering, shocks/springs motor mounts and front brakes etc are part of the package. Many Chevy magazines have covered this swap in detail. You may want to log onto Super Chevy or Chevy Hiperformance's websites to view the write-ups. agpd45 1st-April-2007, 11:27 PM thanks for the replies, guys Raidah 2nd-April-2007, 01:18 AM better handling, better ride and better steering is the final result. | |
