OK heres the deal i just bought a 1 owner green on green 1970 nova 4 dr powerglide 230 inline 6 car 95,000 original miles that runs and drives (for$400.00).The motor was rebuilt 20,000 miles ago, trans shifts good ,body is nice with very little rust but paint is very tired its the original paint ,the interior "eh" not great not horrible.
I also own a 1969 2 door body that needs a lot of parts that i could use off the 4 door like the front clip, the winshield ,hubcaps ,wheels, all the trim, the grill, the nova emblems ect.
I hate to tear apart an original car even though its a four door but should i sell it, or should i strip it?
The problem is i dont think i could get enuff money for the car to replace all the parts i could take off this car,but i hate to hack it up ya know.
What do you guys think?Theres a car identicle to it (same color,4dr,6cyl i mean pretty much the same car)in just about the same shape out on the hyw near my house that they are asking $2500.00 for which i dont think they will ever get that.Do you guys?Is the car worth that???

If it were me, I would be stripping it for the other car. Original parts are better then the quality of the some of the aftermarket junk.

I have a 75 parts car that I could have sold too, but I need parts for my 76. It's getting stripped to nothing then crushed. I look at it as using one car to save another.

I would probably sell it if you could get good money for it. Then use the money to fund the other project. If you cant sell it strip it, use the parts you need, sell the parts you dont, then scrap it.

I would use it for parts. Hardly anyone wants a 4 door.

I wouldn't mind buying the a frame from ya.............how much?;)

I love four doors. But for $2500 it would have to be pretty darn decent, unless it is a 68, then it would be worth it to me ;)

bill (still will own a four door some day for a fun cruiser)

You may not get another one cheap. Better get everything off this one you need. Earl
