The only way I know of is to try and swap them over from another year. Usually lenses have the color molded into the plastic so you can't change the color!

i think the canadian and/or mexico versions had the clear lenses.
i've never seen them advertised though.

I've pondered the same thing...I've got the small amber lenses on my '72...

I've decided the best bet would be to hit up the junk yard and find a set of marker lights/tail lights from whatever make/model car I could as long as they are clear....cut down the lights to fit in my bumper, and call it good. They won't have the molded edges, but rather be a flat clear piece of plastic...but if ya take your time and pay attention to the little details, it shouldn't look too bad...and it'd be the clear lights you desire.

I haven't done it yet...and may not, since I'm in the market for new bumpers now anyway.

One of the board members from Argentina claimed to have access to replacement lenses for their cars which use the small 68 - 69 style. They were never amber colored south of the border as I understand it. I don't know what the quality of the replacements were, but it sounded interesting as I would like to get some white lenses also. I'll have to check back to see if I still have his contact info.

you could get some clear lens material from most auto parts stores.
they are meant to replace or repair broken lenses, but they should be big enough to cut to fit your application. and they are the right thickness.
i thought about using them to fix the clear part of my 4th gens tailights but they arent ba enough to mess with yet.
