My 66 has rack and pinion steering, new stock springs, new ac delco shocks and CPP tubular upper and lower control arms and an Aadco front swaybar. The rear has 4 leaf springs and new AC Delco shocks. Has anyone had a front swaybar only and then added the rear swaybar. Would there be much of a difference in handling?

How does your car handle now?
Does it oversteer, understeer, or is it more neutral?
A sway bar is a tuning aid...just adding them won't always create a better handling car!

On 3rd gens, most seem to think the rear sway bar makes the car handle worse...or course this all depends on how your car is set up (ride height, tire size, springs rate, etc).
Over on pro-touring.com most of the 3rd genner guys who are buying the hotchkis TVS kits are re-selling the rear bar because it causes the car to oversteer something fierce.

On the 64 road race car we had a rear sway bar and removed it to improve the handling. It had a tendency to swap ends unexpectedly.
