Is there a special adapter for the chevy II or do all the chevrolet ones fit?
What do you guys like APC or Grant they both look the same, APC being cheaper

I'm using a grant wheel and adapter kit in my '72. It's seen both the standard '72 column, as well as a tilt unit from a '77 nova.
It was pulled from a mid 80's monte carlo, and was at one time on my '68 pickup. I'd imagine this single adapter fits most GM cars from the 60's, 70's, and into the 80's.
Hope this helps (but I know it doesn't answer your ? exactly).
FWIW, the adapter kits are under $20 around here.

I too use the adapter in my 71. The kit tells you which years it fits. It makes hooking up the horn very easy and reliable with the Grant GT wheels.

The 68 adapter is different than 69-72.

All GM columns from 69 to 94 use the same adapter.

The one I got for my 65 was 1/4" smaller diameter than the bowl. Called Grant and they said it was correct for the year. After more talking, the guy sent me the right one. Said I had the wrong year column in my car. My car has the factory column, but we got it figured out. Their customer service was great. Dave
