sooooo i was having trouble last weekend getting my drivers side door off, but this weekend i got it off, and then i stripped the interior down, took off the trunk and cleaned that out, and i ripped out the wiring harness this weekend...some pictures i took...i know its still pretty rough, but im proud of what i have done so far, with the help of my dad too of course...hopefully soon i will have it broken down and can send it off to get it sandblasted...although i will probly have to wait so that i can afford to do that hahah...but here are some recent pics

Hey they all look like that when we start taking them apart!! Well...except for that crusty orange paint; mine had crusty "champaigne" paint!:D
What was the problem with the doors? Didn't let those springs get away from you, right?? Watch those pins. Make sure they are straight. New ones are really cheap. I think the hard part is going to be getting the doors back ON! ...not getting them off!!

Deep pockets are nice labor savers, but if you are willing to put in some serious sweat-equity, and to learn the art of junk-yard-crawling, you can do a lot for a little!! I don't see all that many young guys at the local pick-n-pulls, and those places can be gold mines once you get use to them.

LOL!! Know what you mean. I got my start in junkyards at a grimy little place just outside College Station! Lots of Texas cars there, for sure!!! The other nice thing is that they don't rust away so fast.:p
