FYI, anyone in the Seattle area who is thinking of attending the big swap meet this weekend, there was a 66 Nova longroof there for sale for $3,800 I believe it was. Not a show winner but didn't look too bad from a quick once over. I'll be back out there tomorrow and get contact info if anyone is interested providing it didn't sell.

Would this be the corvett/hi-po swap meet?
There's another one next weekend in puyallup, right? (Early bird)
I'm planning to be there for that one--unless I got my dates mixed up and already missed it!
Lookin for some wire spoke wheels for a '26 Model T, a set of 15" slotted mags, and a drivers side lower quarter and tail-light panel for a '70 nova.

It was a white 67 for $3500 with rallyes/flat caps and a 6cyl and 'glide.
It had some potentially bad rust along the rear side windows but if gotten on quick enough you might not even need new metal.:)
I looked at it for my 12y/o daughter but the wife and I decided her friends would think Shelby's car was the "partymobile"!!!!!!
NO DICE!!!!!

How about the 65 near it for 5000? I must have driven a 25000 car there if he gets that.
The 66 had some severe rust hiding in areas that will be a bugger to fix. The front pillars had some pretty heavy caulking on there, little rusty under there?
Nothing that couldn't be fixed given enough time and money.

Ain't that the truth...Thanks Darren for the clarification...like I said, a quick walk around and it really didn't get much attention but thought later someone may want a "project".
There was a red 65 El Camino with big block there that was very nice fir $18K that caught my eye too. I'm not looking for any more cars right now, so ignored most of them.
Yes, it is the Corvette & High Performance meet this weekend. There were slot mags up the ying yang for sale by the way, so I would imagine there will be plenty next weekend too.

Is this the 67? My short term memory is shot.http://seattle.craigslist.org/skc/car/278478053.html
If its a good runner I might need to give it a home, I'm a sucker for a neglected wagon.

i just got back from the swap meet and they had some alright stuff there and i saw seom mags with some rust but would have come right off and good tires and he said he'd take 50 but i saw the bottom rim and it was horrible so i didnt bother but it sucks cause they would have looked sweet

Pretty much the same here...
Found a set of slotted mags 15x7's finally :D but they weren't exactly what I was looking for...and I'm sick of "settling" The price was alright, though.
Saw the 400sbc long block for 250...pondered it for about 2 seconds, but decided I had a few other things that needed done before I up the cubes.
Just ended up with some buffing wheels...
Took a good hard look at that '68 C10, orange long-box for $3,500. Seemed like a pretty good price for the quality of the truck...don't really need another one (and it was a long box) but it was straight!
Overall, I don't feel like it was worth the trip...lots of rusty, over-priced projects and parts....took a total of 4 hours driving time there and back, thanks to traffic northbound on the way back. Oh well, at least it wasn't raining!

That's the one. A friend of mine had a booth down there so we were selling off some Nova odds and ends. He was real close to buying that '67 for $2800. So if anybody is interested, the guy will move a little on the price.

I was going to buy it last week. I left him a message, no return call. Now I'm looking for a 64 or 66 C10, anyone know of any?

It's just up the street from me, I'm going at lunch to check it out. I might end up with a 65, 66, and a 67 wagon. I must need my head examined.

The car is on a lot now, My Town Motors in Auburn, the seller says he is too busy to deal with it right now. You might want to give them a call.253-653-4123 I think this is the number.
