So I just got a 69 nova sales brochure off e-bay, and there is a caption with a picture for headlight washers. Does anyone have this on their nova. I dont remember seeing any novas with that option. Would like to see some pictures if anyone has them on their nova.

I thought that the headlight washers were cool, but had never seen them on a Nova. That would be one awosome NOS piece to find.

That wouldn't be needed down here but would be handy up north. Was there such a monster ?

I had posted a question about the headlight washers a couple of years ago. Nobody had seen any on a car then either. I'm sure there were a few cars that got 'em, so they are definitely a very rare item. I believe there were so few ordered that GM dropped the option the following year.

i guess gm was ahead of the times on that cause thats a big deal on the audi's now also you could make some real easily using windshield sprayers now if i could get my washer tank to work on either car i would try it
but i would have to make mine spray forward to hit the cars in front of me when they pi**** me off

That would not work very well if you sprayed the cars in front of you.
1. because it would cause the fluid to get cought in the wind and spray the front of your car.
2. It wouldnt really do anyting but get their bumper and trunk lid wet.

A buddy of mine had a 71 chevelle that he did something like that to. He drilled a hole in the rear bumper, Fed a line thru it, got a windheild washer pump and fluid tank, mounted them in the trunk, and wired them up. Whenever some one followed too close he would just flick a sitch and spray water all over their windsheild. For the people in front of him he put some 2million candel power lights behind the grill, and flashed them whenever the person in front was driving too slow.

It was 1983. Every morning before school, there would be a burnout contest leaving out of the local Night Owl. I was driving a six cylinder pick-up truck at the time. Then one day the idea hit me...

Folks never could figure out how a lil' six could smoke the tires that far.:D

Tommy, you can see a pic of the block heater plug on Toms Black SS on the Nova Resource site, there's a close-up of it with a gauge on the core support. I'm not sure what the gauge is for, but it's pretty cool.
