What do you use for protecting the lower body panels, rockers, and fenders, lower rear quarters from stone chips, tar, scratches, etc.?? Do you use mudguards/flaps,or thin magnet sheets painted body color, or anything else? I live in PA where the roads are horrible and I want to protect my '70 Nova's fresh paint job the best I can, but I don't want to drill any holes in the quarters and front fenders to mount mudguards. What other options are available?

Use the paper clamps(I'm not sure of the proper name)they're black with chrome tabs they come in various sizes and you can remove them when ever you want.I'll post a pic tomorrow.

3M makes a clear polyurethane film that comes in different widths. This stuff is used on some new vehicles as a rock gaurd type material. I installed some on my tailgate of my truck as the canopy door was starting to wear into the finish.

Those clips, and clear plexiglass do the trick.
