I Am Putting In My First Dash Pad In A Friend Of Mines 69,its An Oer Brand And Not Fitting To Suit Me. At First I Left The Metal Clips Out And It Would Not Lay Flat, after Putting The Clips In You Can See The Outline Of Them From The Outside! Any Advice?

Not suprised. It seems that many aftermarket dash pads do not just drop right in. The brand that you named is one of those. Hopefully someone here has a fix for that.

Possibly your friend could send it back and then buy a good used dash pad?
I have a black one for a nova with AC, came off a 73, the grain pattern is slightly different from a 69. If he's interested...
Half of the reproduction parts aren't worth a crap it seems.

I am in the process of removing my '74 Nova OER pad to remove the clips. They show through the top of the pad....
Otherwise the pad fits and looks very good. :D
I guess your other choice is to pay big bucks and send your old one off to JustDashes and have them make it like new?
