Does anybody know where I can get a 1" bore manuel push rod for a 67 to change my 66 over to duel brakes. I already have a 67 master cylinder now I need the push rod and lines to make it work. Thanks MrDanO

Do you have a picture of what you need. I have a manual brake pushrod out of my 69 that I do not need. do you have any measurements. Send me your e-mail and i will send you a pic of what I have. If it'll work you can have it.

I bought a threaded clevis from C2O and made my own manual pushrod out of - I think - a 1/2-20 hex bolt. I cut the hex off and chamfered the end. Check your bore diameter and lenght to see exactly what you need.

To answer your initial question, MP brakes sells a conversion pushrod/clevis assy

I think it is approx 9" long - which was too long for my 1st gen. That is why I bought/modified the hex bolt.

I am in the process of changing my 66 single reservoir to 67 dual reservoir with drum/drum manual brakes.I talked to master power brakes today they said that I would not have to switch to a 67 push rod .They told me the one from my 66 would work just fine.
Anyone know if this is correct? thanks for any in put
