Have any of you guys used the poly urethane transmission mount made by energy suspension? I haven't tried to install mine yet but noticed that it measures 1/2" taller than the stock one. If any one has tried one, how did it fit? Any issuses?

Just a thought but if your looking at the old mount it may be distorted. I would put it next to a new one.
On a side note I hope they work well becaue I am planing on ordering the kit for mine soon....

The Energy mounts are pretty much always about 1/8" or so taller no matter what make car or trans.
I have used Energy Suspension stuff on 7 cars now (complete kits) and will continue to do so. I am sure there are more expensive bushings and mounts out there, but for the price......ya can't beat em'.
With my experiences you will definantly "feel" the difference in the rear suspension. Nice and Tight,No flexing. 4 spd mounts are noticable as well (a good noticeable), especially under a heavy launch. Front end.....snug but nothing super noticeable.

I'm using one on my '72 with TH350.
It'll fit fine--at least it did for me!
I too have the entire kit in my car--made a huge difference over-all.
Of course my stock bushings were beyond worn out.
