My fault, its classic industries... But I need a drivers side door and I couldn't find anywhere to get a reproduction until classic industries started making complete fiberglass replacements. Is there anywhere else I can get one?
The fiberglass idea sounds neat, I would love to have the weight savings of two fiberglass doors. Would there be any potential problems?

Interesting...I hadn't seen these yet from classic yet...but I know there is another company or two making them.
The only potential problems I would see, with constant use, would be the hinge areas or the door latch area's breaking out/cracking if they aren't properly re-inforced, or if the door isn't hung correctly (sagging).
I would call first to check if they are set up to accept your factory window regulators and glass--of the fiberglass doors I've come across they require lexan/plexiglass windows, and are either pinned or riveted in place.
Last, I'd be concerned a bit for safety (daily driver). A fiberglass door is going to give you a bit less protection in the event of a side impact....not that a thin sheet-metal shell w/ no reinforcements offers much protection anyway....
I'd like more info on these as well.

I was thinking of fiberglass because i was having such a hard time to find steel doors but everybody seems to advertise the glass ones for race. so i decided to wait it out till i found steel doors. even my jeep with a glass body has steel doors.
my 2 cents

Try http://vfnfiberglass.com/site.htm
They do excelent work but I think steel doors would be best for a street car.

U.S. Body source in Florida has full doors that will take all stock hardware, but they don't advise using glass because the weight will beat up the monting holes.

I need a regular steel drivers side door. Fiberglass is out of question for my needs. Any ideas where I can get a complete steel door?

Its a 72. From the outside it looks fine but looks can be decieving. It is all rotted around the hinges so it sags as if the hinges were bad but they are fine.
