Thanks 69 nova boy 31st-January-2007, 05:17 PM i dont beleive so, i went through classics to order my whole trunk pan and from there description i thought it came with those straps, but sure enough it didnt, what i did was went to a guy not to far from me with MANY rotted novas and grabbed a pair, they werent in to great of shape but were usable, if you dont come across anything let me know and i can see what he has again. -Chad corvettelar 31st-January-2007, 07:07 PM Thanks for your input. I have not seen any repos yet either. Is there any demand for them out there guys or are most of your 3rd gen trunk supports still in usable condition? ProchargedchevyI 1st-February-2007, 09:14 AM I had to replace mine too when I did my trunk. I looked everywhere for them and couldn't find any. I just ended up fabricating my own out of square-tube stock. Total cost $20.00 :D Schonyenko2 1st-February-2007, 11:12 AM Yes, there's a lot of demand for them and I can't understand why goodmark, or someone hasn't started making them. Maybe we should all send goodmark emails. jmcleek 1st-February-2007, 11:49 AM When I did the trunk floor in my 74 ,I used a 68-72 trunk center and a pair of 69 camaro fuel tank supports. Fit the gas tank perfictly and very close to the contour of the floor with some mod. 69 nova boy 2nd-February-2007, 04:34 PM i to tryed using the camaro ones, but they werent a perfect fit, so when i found the nova ones i was pretty happy, but they are in demand now, because everyone restoring a nova eventually runs into this problem. keep looking and if not it would probably be cheaper to make them. -Chad | |
