without offending anyone what's a good first time donation to steve's? Also, do you get to post something in your signature? I seen some gurus with there car in there amongst other things, is there a minimum?

I usually do $25.I did it a couple times last year. The way I look at it is $25 for this kind of entertainment is well worth it.Give what ya can....It all helps steve cover the cost of running the site.bm

Getting ready to donate also. Since I haven't yet, is that why I can't post pics in my messages? Just curious. Anyways, to me $25 is pretty friggin cheap considering the wealth of knowledge I've learned so far from this site. I'm telling ya, I have no idea what kind of mistakes I would have made while looking for cars and stuff like that if I hadn't had the opportunity to get on this site, talk to other members, read posts, etc, and learn what I learned. I probably learn something new on here AT LEAST every two days. Priceless stuff. I love this place, but my wife HATES it (too much time on the 'puter)

Just for reference - I sent $25 the first time. You will get "sig picture" and "uploading" privileges shortly after the donation is processed. I looked at it like a magazine subscription also when I did it.....:)

deuce, you can still post pics, you just have to get a photobucket account, download them there and copy and paste in your thread. Not trying to detour you from donating, just giving you some options. I still have to get my donation in here, it has been nothing, but a great experiance for me since i came on this sight in nov.

Not sure if I should make a new thread, or continue this. Anyway, I did a paypal donation July 1st, and it says "unclaimed" in my paypal account. Did I make a mistake, or is that normal?

If I am not mistaken, the average donation is approx $250.00 a year

Carl,
That was my fault, what happened was I deleted my webmaster at stevesnovasite email account and created a new one. webmaster1 at stevesnovasite, and I changed it at paypal, but I failed to make the change until this week (my oversight) with the donation links on the site. Before Monday if you clicked the donation link your donation was sent to webmaster and not webmaster1. So after your donation sat at paypal for a bit they return the funds back to your account because webmaster at stevesnovasite is not registered at paypal anymore. I hope that clears things up for you and anyone else this may have happened to. I know there was two others and I have since straighten this up.

Cheers...
