Need a Mockup Tire

Can anyone help me out with a free tire to used for mockup on the 64 Nova?

Looking for a 215/40R17 or a 215/45R17.

I'm in Acworth Ga, so if anyong has access to one really cheap or free tire please let me know.

I have been to a couple tire shops, and they let me take a couple different sizes to check out fitment. They just held them against a credit card until I brought them back. Of course you can't mount them, but should give you and idea what kind of clearance you would have.

i went to my local tire store and got all 4 tires for the Flyer... all used, all free. paid for the mounting, no balancing thanks ;)

the specs for the 17's, are they comparable to a 15" size with the same backspaced wheel ??? i bet you'd find used 15's before ya found 17's... but then again, i'm not a tire guy ;)

Hey Rodzilla I am just up the road from Acworth. I live below Emerson-Cartersville. If you are mini tubbing your 64 I would like to check it out sometime! I am trying to get my shop built before spring gets here so I can get started on my 63. You should hit all the local tire shops till you find what you are looking for. They sould be free or real cheap. Also there is usually someone in the Atlanta advertiser with 17"-18" tires cheap.
