I am having the same problem at work, but not on my wireless connection, which is a different service provider. It may be network routing issues..

We were experiencing a great deal of slowdown yesterday, and made some server configuration changes to compensate. Today the site seems much better from where I sit, but if a lot of people are still having problems, let me know.

To me, viewing threads was never very bad, but adding a reply, or responding to a PM would increasingly result in a timeout. But, as I said, after we made that change, things got much better.

How is it going for everyone today? Sound off!

Site still does not laod for at least 3 min. I dumped cookies, etc to reset, but no change.

I agree, Johnny. It is not what we'd call blindingly fast, but it is also not throwing database errors when I post. We're gettin' there, but keep me posted if it takes a turn for the worse.

It's working much better for me today. A couple of days agon I tried to post replys and kept getting error messages. The postings never did make it, but things are working fine now.

Posting or replying still seems a little slow. It took 20 seconds to load the reply page. It also seems like I am not getting emails as much as I should for subscribed threads.

It's being sorta pokey at 7:30pm PST this evening.

Loading the forum list or the message list in a forum is almost painful. :geek: No errors though.

For me, it seems to hang when I'm switching between forums, or going back to the main page. Not all the time, but sometimes. Not so much when I'm looking at threads within a forum. It always gets there eventually, but a couple of times today it has taken about 40 seconds to do so. Is everyone seeing pretty much the same thing?

yes, kinda slow at loading, switching forums, the PM area etc... no errors since ya did what ya did yesterday though... for me it IS a bit faster than it was, but still not up to proper speed...


can't ya lower the floor and put a brick on the pedal ??? we have safer barriers ya know ;)

I just recently got the ability to be a little more hands on with certain parts of the site, so I have plenty more tech guy tweaks to do. Stay tuned, folks. ;)

Thanks for letting me know, Johnny. I'm not able to do a whole lot about it tonight, but over the weekend, I should be able to get into it some more with Steadfast tech support.

Anyone else that is experiencing extreme lag tonight, this is the thread to tell me about it.

it WAS really bad earlier today... a bit better for me now... it improved on my end about 30 minutes or so after Greg's post... i dunno when he did mainenance but seems better now on my end. Thanks Greg :D

It's 8:59 PST and it's still doing it. It doesn't seem quite as bad, but it's still very noticeable.
