Who has the best price on the kit with upper and lower control arms?
Has anyone tried it with Mustang II rack & pinion?
Has anyone thought about using a coilover shock between upper and lower
A-arms and losing the upper A-arm spring and shock?

As for price, CPP has a special on the kits right now. I think it's about the best you'll be able to do. As for the rack and pinion, the lower arms with the bend in the front tube are supposed to accomodate a R&P set up. The problem with using a coil over on the lower control arm is that 1) there is no mount for it and 2) there is no upper frame mount for the top of it. For obvious reasons you don't mount a shock and spring to the lower AND the upper control arm (it wouldn't do ANYTHING :D ).

BTW... The biggest bang for the buck is the lower arm kit, and it's amazing the difference it makes!

Hope this helps!

Thanks Chuck. My application is a drag race only one.I was thinking of possibly fabbing the mounts for the coilovers. Using a crossbar on the lower A with tabs, and a type of solid bracket for the top, with the shock going through the center of the upper A. Got it worked out in my mind. I would think that CPP had already thought of such a configuration. It wouldn't be very hard to make it work.

CPP shows an online price of the 6267TCA-ULK NEW Kit (with upper control arms) of $689.
This seems to be a little higher than the prices that I have seen discussed on this forum.

Save yourself the shipping costs and order the kit through Summit racing. You should be able to find it on thier site. If you cant, call them with the part #. I did this with my upper arms, and saved about 70 bucks.

Talk to Jeff at CPP. His quote to me for upper and lower set up for the rack and pinion was $654.00 delivered to Dallas area. Freight was $60 of that number.
