So far I have the trunk pan cut out, the shocks out, the leaf springs half out, and the rear completely out. The reason I can't get the leaf springs completely out is because the nut for bolts where it mounts to the body have broke loose leaving a frustrated me. My question is what do I do? Can I buy the whole panel that the rails weld to and the leaf springs mount to?

I'd just torch the bolt heads off then fix the problem when it was apart. The stationary nuts are replacable I am almost positive. RM

Any idea's on relocating the shocks? I want to move them in. Summit has a relocator kit for the camaro/firebird, will this work on a nova?

If it's the Competition Engineering kit then yes it will work, HOWEVER it specifically says that you have to narrow it 1" to work on a Nova. I chose to make my own shock mounts.

I believe you just have to cut it down 1". Here you go...

I do have competion engineering rails (not installed yet) but working on it. I think i will get that shock relocator as well since there isnt much left of my stock mounts.

did you get the leaf spring buckets out yet? i had the same problem. i took out the back seat and cut the floor to acess the nuts. after that is was just a matter of cutting out the old frame rails and putting in the new ones.

Just grind the bolt heads down/off and replace the bolts and nut/clamps.;)

Yeah, I cut the heads off the bolts. I still have to get the bolt and clip out. Seperating the rails from the body is turning out to be more time consuming than i first expected.
