tire width

whats the widest tire anyone 3rd gens on here have put on their novas without minitubbing

From what I understand 255's are pretty much it w/o modifying anything, and with no rubbing issues.
Larger if you roll your wheel well lips and move your shocks to the inside of the springs.
I'm running 235's all around w/o any rubbing, and I have a good 2 inches on the inside of the rear wheels before I run into any issues with hitting my shocks.

I have 235x60's up front and 255x60 out back with no issues. These are on 15x7's with a 4.5 inch BS.

275s on a 15x7 w/ 4.5 BS will fit. but that tire is a bit too wide for a 7 inch rim and won't wear very well. If that's not a big concern, go for it.

255 is probably the smartest choice, IMO. :)

28x11.5/15 ET Streets or a 275/60/15

ive got 275/40's in back on an 17x8 rim

I have 255/60/15's on the back on 8" wide rims with 4.5" backset. I have a slight rub on the passenger side. I would probably go with a 7" wide rim if I had it to do over....

I'm running 8.5 inch rims on mine with a 5" backspace.

I run Et Streets 15 x 26 with an 8.2 inch tread width. I still have room on both sides of my tires and wheels. I believe I could have went with a 9" wide wheel and tire if centerline had one with a 5.5 " backspace.
