Nova Muffler?

I Am Wanting To Put A Stock Transverse Muffler(2 In 2 Out) Has A Mild 454 And A M22 Four Speed. Right Now It Has A 4'" Single System All In The Stock 6 Cylinder Location. It Sounds Excellent,but A Little Too Noisey.where Is The Best Place To Find One Of These Stock Mufflers.thanks

I'd try Summit and Jegs first...I don't know if they do make a transverse muffler that has 2 ins and 2 outs for Novas...All the ones I have seen are either 2 in and one out or 1 in and 1 out.

I Think Most All Big Block Novas Had This Type Of Muffler-2 In,2-out
Behind The Rearend. Thats What I Am Looking For.not A Flowmaster,just A Stock Muffler

Then I'd try a local Napa or Car Quest...The ones around here seem to be pretty decent and don't have moronic 16 year olds that don't know anything working there...LOL

Check your local muffler shops, they should be able to get something for you. Have you checked classic industries for their "stock" type exhaust kits?

Flowmaster makes a Nova kit that has the muffler you are talking about. It is a 40 so it is maybe a little louder than what you want. I think it is a 2.5" system.

You are correct. It is a 2 1/2" system. I have it on my 73.

evidently they do cause mine has one. by transverse you mean side to side not front to back right? thats what i have... ill get apic tomarrow
