Hi All, My son and I got about 3 hours of work done on the Nova today. I posted some updated pics on the website. I hope to have the motor pulled by next week as to finish the engine compartment. Now that the Nascar Championship has been decided, that gives me another 3 or 4 hours on Sundays to work on the car. Although I'm not a Jimmie Johnson fan, congrats to Chevy on winning another championship!!!:chev:

Hey! At least you have it inside!:p I was hoping to shoot primer today but ran out of daylight in my driveway. That is a nice looking project you have there.

Your making great progress. I will be replacing my rear frame rails along with the floor pan, trunk pan, seats, and gas tank before the month is out. Not half as much as you but still alot for me.

Hey Dave, I thought I had it so bad with my tiny 7'x17' garage, but I really feel bad for you after seeing your pics. I finally sold my scooter which was also parked in front of the Nova so at least now I can get inside and close the garage door to work on it. Thanks for all the encouragement. I was lucky that all the floor pans and rails were in excellent condition. Hitting the big 45 next month I thank God for my 12 year old who is more of a fanatic than I for anything with 2 or 4 wheels and an engine. Its definitely in his blood. He does'nt mind sitting out there for hours, grinding, cleaning, and cataloging all the nuts and bolts. I bought this car for him and hopefully by the time he's in H.S., he will have a killer ride! Good Luck!

Lookin' good, hope that hand doesn't hurt too much! OUCH! I had a few near misses myself while stripping my 72, can never be to careful! Safety glasses are also a must when working with wire wheels.

Good luck with the project, nice to see someone using a 6 cylinder. Im keeping mine also.
