Well I have a business opportunity, but I need to raise capital to make it happen. I’m looking into several different ways of raising capital and this is just one of them. Now this is a hypothetical question since I have not decided this is the route I want to go to raise the capital or if I even want to take the risk of entering into this new business venture at this time in my life. I would like to have an idea on what the value of my current project with its rare options is to the community to help me make decisions.
The project: 72 Nova SS (K in vin) clear title
The body shell has a new full passenger side quarter and new lower drivers side quarter. The drivers side floor board has been removed and the new one which I have needs welded in. Also the trunk lip on the rear tail pan needs repaired, but the car comes with a new complete rear pan to do this repair. No other panel replacement should be needed. It will need some other areas worked on but they should be relatively easy fixes. Original four speed hump and bucket seat mounts still in the car.
I have a nice front sub-frame that is complete (ie A-arms, springs, power steering box and steering linkage) and the mounting holes are good. It is out of a 74 Nova so the bumper mounts will need to be drilled.
New front disc brake set up with a used power booster, master cylinder, and distribution block.
Front fenders, inner fenders, and deck lid that are really nice. Both doors could use lower skins, but could also be repaired and used as is. Hood has a little rot under front lip, but I think it could be repaired easily. Core support needs cleaned up and a little minor repair.
I have what I believe to be all the stainless trim and other chrome parts. Some of it needs some work, other parts just need a polishing. Grille is not original SS but I do have the grille emblem along with the rest of the SS emblems.
Complete set of glass and regulators with the front windshield being the type with the built in radio antenna.
8.5” ten bolt rear housing axles with open carrier. I have a used posi carrier and a brand new 3.73 richmond set of gears with a gear installation kit for it. New brake cylinders still in boxes.
Bucket seats from a 73 Nova (zip seat covers) and tracks, four speed pedals, floor shift steering column, Tach and clock dash cluster, center console and gauges from a 73 Nova, SS horn shroud and steering wheel, back seat from a 69 Nova, headliner bows and clips, the special heater duct for under the dash with console cars, multi leaf rear suspension, brand new shocks for all four corners, and a Saginaw 4-speed tranny w/shifter.
Also I have a SBC 350 that needs rebuilt, Holley 650 cfm carb, and aluminum torquer intake. Lots of other little odds and ends needed for the car such as rear mirror, drivers door mirror, horn, washer bottle, windshield wipers, transmission, motor, washer pump, hood hinges, all major assembly mounting plates, under the dash heater box, kick panels, 15” and 14” sets steel rims, jack assembly, various wiring harnesses from 2 parts cars, drive shaft....
I have almost everything for a complete car with the exception of the following things off the top of my head: door panels, carpet, head liner, sail panels, radiator, flywheel, clutch, some clutch linkage, and a rear bumper.
So what do you all think it would be worth in its currently disassembled state?
