I Am Getting Ready To Put A Set Of Gauges In The Nova And I Was Wondering Should I Put The Sending Unit In The Intake Or The Right Or Left Side Of The Heads

Greetings,

If you can, put it in the head, but if not, you can always use the intake or T off of one of the outlet if you're out of outlets.

I always use the intake.

I've always used the intake manifold. I don't want to be reaching around those hot pipes anymore than I have too. With all the heat that comes off the exhaust I would tend to think it would skew the readings to the high side. i have had people tell that will happen but have no proof.

I have heard that head temps can run 20 degrees hotter that a sensor at the thermostat housing.
