My 69 project came with a 4 spoke steering wheel. It looks like the kind that came on 73-81 camaros. When I was looking in my 72 books it showed what they call a cushion grip steering wheel and it looks very much like the wheel that is in my car. It has the big removable horn cap on it. Has anyone seen one of these in a Nova? Does anybody know where I can get all the hub parts for this wheel? The parts are called a Belleville spring, upper horn isolator and receptor(hold the horn cap in). I have not had any luck at the wrecking yards around here and Classic Industries does not sell all of the parts just the the receptor and horn cap?

That sure looks like it. I have the wheel and the cap but none of the guts for the hub.

That is funny! The 69 Camaro I owned 10 years ago had that steering wheel and the horn cap, but not guts either. Sounds like a trend.

Check ebay. I've seen these type of wheels sell for quit cheap (and commonly). Either use the new wheel, or gut it to put on your original.

Ebay is where I bought mine and it was in Great shape. I even have an extra Bowtie like your red one. Mine is Silver though. hpg:chev:

That center bowtie piece will pop out and you can replace it with a SS center from some other cars (Monte Carlo?) if you want. You can even design your own customized pieces by removing painted on logos from the center piece so its clear then and put something else under it. You have to find a center piece that has the logo painted on - not molded in. I know some Cavalier centers are painted.
