I have a set of 4 of the Rally Wheels off my 72. The code on them is R-1-0 5 21 XG.
Can anyone tell me what this means? Is it from 1972?

The "1" behind the "R" means it was made at the Romulus, MI plant. The "0" behind the "1" is for 1970. Not sure about the "R" since my rims had a "K" there instead for a Kelsey Hays rim. The XG code means your rim is correct for a 1970 Chevy II RPO Rally except SS. It should be a 14X6 JJ code rim and it was made on the 21st day of May. Would be correct for a late production 1970 Nova. Gloryhound 9th-November-2006, 06:51 PM Speaking of Rally wheels and not trying to steal the thread. Will Pontiac Rally II's work on a Nova? As most of you know My car is still in the parts collection stage and has no suspension. I have a set of 2 15X6 and 2 15X7 Rally II's from a Pontiac and I like the look of them, so I'm thinking of using them. Otherwise I've still got my 15" steelies. slickman 9th-November-2006, 07:26 PM Thanks man! So, I guess these are not worth much? A guy not far from me is offering me $100 for them, is that a fair price from my point of view? The "1" behind the "R" means it was made at the Romulus, MI plant. The "0" behind the "1" is for 1970.
