License Plate Colors

I know...this is an odd question...but does anyone know where I can get paint colors to match the original blue/gold California license plates from 1971? I have the original plates for my ride, but they are pretty faded. If I can't find the paints I guess I'll spring for the $100 or so and have them done (I suspect they will look a LOT better if someone else does them ... but you know how it is :rolleyes: )

You might try going to your local automotive paint store. If you can get the stickers off without ruining them they can probably match it for you. They may even know the correct color anyway. A lot of these stores have those computers than can match paint also. We have a store here called Paint Mart that does a lot of auto paint stuff. They carry paint for anything you need.
