Starting on our very original, unmolested 63 SS. TCI front end, fuel injected 350, 700R4, 411 Posi, have collected most of the parts. I'm going to start digging in in a couple of weeks. Looking forward to late spring hitting the cruises and shows.

I'm looking to install a bigger carb, and put 4.56 gears in to get the engine in the optimal RPM range and make the car more consistent.

Pull motor, new rod bolts, new valve springs, new lifters, new front runners and slicks...put it back together and wait for the season to begin....the off season is way to long.

You have to get off the couch to do that...:p
Anywhoooo...
I am hoping to get my 78' project truck finished and then start finishing the inside of my shop before starting on the Nova and my 43' Jeep. I've gotta insulate 2 walls and sheetrock and paint the whole inside. 24'x42' shop so i got my work cut out for me.:rolleyes:

Heh...at least I'd be wearing something. Did you guys hear about the Detroit Lions assistant coach who was cited for driving nude?
Seriously though, I got one of those Covan's kits, like this one:

Finish getting the pellet stove installed in the garage, then its time to start on the chassis fab on the 63, hope to get the 62 backed in the garage and get the drivers side floor pan installed (weather permitting).

At this point, I think I'm going to be lucky just to get the pig up on jackstands for the winter. Lots of stuff I'd like to do (install CPP control arm kits, disc brake kit, new cam/converter), but none of that may happen this winter due to home remodel plans.
Maybe in the spring...maybe not since there'll be a new kid in January. Can you say NOVA HIATUS? N-O-V-A H-I-A-T-U-S. Very good boys and girls, let's go have a snack. :D

Oh I can vouch for ya Wrecks.... Started my addition on June 14th and finished it the day before my 2nd kid arrived on August 26th. The Nova keeps getting pushed out farther and farther and farther and f a r t h e r:( You get the point...
And yes! My name is John and I can say "N-O-V-A H-I-A-T-U-S" with enthusiasm. :rolleyes:
OK snack time:beer::beer:

John's Nova will be on a diet this winter, it will probably shed a few more pounds in the form of rust :p
