I bought my new disk brake kit including 2" dropped spindles and new master cyl/booster from CPP all in one kit. They have several different configurations to choose from www.classicperform.com (http://www.classicperform.com/6092chevtrk.htm). Classic Industries has them as well in different options www.classicindustries.com/ (http://www.classicindustries.com/) Mike Bluesman 4th-November-2006, 11:05 PM Another option...just an option mind you...is to look on eBay. I got mine from there and I am very happy with them. Dave bowtie0069 5th-November-2006, 01:10 AM Can Some One Tell Me Where I Can Get Disc Brake Kit ? Mike chufham 5th-November-2006, 08:28 PM Check out Low Buck X cheap to do set up I plan to do it on my Ventura. Nova_Guy 5th-November-2006, 08:34 PM I replaced the drum brakes on my car with factory disks brakes of a 1973 Nova. By the time I bought all the parts and cleaned everything up I could have bought one of the kits with all new parts for a few dollars more. jacobgiles 5th-November-2006, 08:42 PM Can Some One Tell Me Where I Can Get Disc Brake Kit ? Or did they use the old drum master cylinder? What about proportioning valve? bowtie0069 27th-November-2006, 01:43 AM I'm guessing they upgraded the master cylinder to a disc brake one? Or did they use the old drum master cylinder? What about proportioning valve? I ran the stock drum master for quite a while; now I run an aluminum Mopar piece, but never have added a proportioning valve. Engineered Components has a new disc set-up that bolts to drum spindles that looks pretty good for $525. http://ecihotrodbrakes.com/early_chevy_discbrake_conversions.html | |
