Weight

What is the weight of a 69 rolling chassis bench seat,engine & trans are out?Just need to be close not to the pound.

As a ruff guess I would put it between 2000 lbs and 2300 lbs. If I remember right the cars start off around 3200 lbs. You subtract the engine complete pan to carb and the alternator, starter, PS pump, and possibly AC pump. then the wieght of the seats which are like a 100lbs, The transmission with convertor or clutch will drop you 150 lbs or more. If you have all that removed you probably have some other things removed such as the radiator and drive shaft. So I would say you have easlily cut 900+ out of the car.

Thanks Gloryhound,I can't believe with all the litature I have I couldn't find any info.The car is missing all engine related parts rad,alt,no A/C,driveshaft,& no trans parts.
