What year linkage?

I went to replace my toe-in adjusting sleeves on my 64. The book says that only 62's have longer outer tie rod ends than the inner. And 63 and newer have equal length tie rod ends. Remember I have a 64. My outer tie rod end is twice as long as my inner. What gives? What year do I have? Any pics out there?
