While putting my calt racs and new frame connectorson I broke or stripped a few of the clips that the bolts go through to fasten the front spring perch to the car. I am looking to get new bolts and clips or away to reinstall everything if there is an alternative option... I had to cut them and then fish the clips and bolt out the holes b/c they have never been loosen from the factory, per previous owner....

Any help would be great!!!!!

If you are talking about the spring clip nuts you can find them at NAPA and maybe in the help section of some auto parts stores.

Next question....What is the best way to get the metal bushing out besides takeing the leaf springs off and paying to have them pressed out.

I cut the bushing down one side and it is peeling up and I was thinking of cutting on the oppisite side so that it can have room and come out..

Any other ideas on getting the metal bushing out of the leaf spring eye??

Greetings,

If you have some way of supporting the leaf spring, break out the air chisel and go to town!

No air chisel but I am able to move it slowly by spreading the leaf spring cirle apart at the opening and pushing the sleeve through...

Getting the bushing out is just whatever works for you. No easy way that I know of. RM
